Get ready for the largest student-run cyber security
event in the nation: a weekend of competitions, industry talks and events to
prepare best-performing students with the skills and knowledge to shape
the future of the industry.
Welcome
to Capture the Flag (CTF).
Realistic offensive security competition that tests and
teaches at the same time.
Students tackle problems in a series of real-world scenarios modeling all
sorts of computer security problems where, to succeed, they
must demonstrate a profound understanding of the roles and ramifications
of cyber security in these situations.Because the challenges are designed to teach, CTF requires contestants to integrate concepts, develop skills and learn to hack as they go. Undergraduate and Graduate finalists compete on-site for cash prizes, where their performance is judged by a panel of technical experts.
This will be a jeopardy style Capture the Flag event with challenges in various categories related to cyber security (Forensics, Network Forensics, Cryptography, Packet Analysis, Ethical Hacking)
Detectware-Universities Cyber Security Competition will be limited to 15
teams from selected Universities. Teams will consist of 1-5 students, with one team per university.
All team openings are on a first come first serve basis. If multiple teams are
received from the same university the second team will be put on a wait list.

trivia, but a lot more intense. It's an academically-rigorous game show forging
through a range of topics with humor and enthusiasm, from current events to the
highly technical.
Network Security, Cryptography, Malware, Application & Web Security, Protocols & Programming, History, Current Events, Digital Forensics, Policy, Hardware, Control Systems, Internet of Things Etc.
In addition to a regular
